Remove an intimate image of you
If a sexual or intimate photo or video of you is on 8hues and you didn't agree to it being shared here — including a fake made with editing software or AI — tell us below. You don't need an 8hues account.
What we do: we remove it within 48 hours of your request, and we look for and remove any identical copies on 8hues too — you don't have to find them. We give you a reference number, and we email you to say what we removed, or why we couldn't.
Before you start
- If you're in danger, or someone is threatening to share images of you, contact local police first.
- If the person in the image is under 18, use Take It Down from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as well. We report every such image to them.
- To help stop the same image appearing on other sites, you can also create a case at StopNCII.org. It never asks you to upload the image.
Your request
The law asks for four things, so the form asks for exactly those: your signature, where the image is, a statement that it was shared without consent, and how to reach you.
Prefer email?
Write to takedown@8hues.com with the same four things: where the image is, a statement that it was shared without the consent of the person shown, how to reach you, and your full name as your signature. The 48 hours start when it arrives.
Why this page exists
8hues already bans sharing anyone's intimate images without their consent (see the Terms). The federal TAKE IT DOWN Act also requires every site like this one to run this process and to remove a valid request within 48 hours. If we fail to, you can complain to the Federal Trade Commission.
Other safety help: the safety center.
